
Rebecca Eleanor Allen produced a superb display to win the Scottish Open Women’s title at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew, Scotland, as part of the Target Scottish Open weekend. The event was ranked as a Silver tournament by the World Darts Federation, with the finals played live on stage from 5pm.
The Irish youth star defeated Lorraine Hyde 5-2 in the final, overturning Hyde’s 69.34 average with a composed performance of her own, averaging 67.01 to secure the biggest women’s title of the weekend.

Allen’s route to the title included a dramatic 4-3 semi-final victory over Sophie McKinlay, where she held her nerve in a deciding leg after McKinlay averaged 69.95. Hyde reached the final in strong form, defeating Chelsea McMahon 4-1 in the semi-finals with a 74.85 average.
In the quarter-finals, Allen whitewashed Olivia Heaton 4-0, Hyde edged past Steph Clarke 4-3 in a high-quality contest, McKinlay defeated Maret Liiri 4-3, and McMahon overcame Macy Gibbons 4-1.
The event showcased the depth of talent in the women’s game, with several tight matches across the latter stages, but it was Allen who stood tallest on the stage in Renfrew to lift the Silver-ranked Scottish Open Women’s crown.
